Hi, I'm Sarah, Owner of Blue Crew Photography

I am a published Photographer who is passionate about capturing unique and natural moments for you and your family.

I began my venture into photography as a little girl. My dad always had a "fancy camera" to capture all of our family trips. I loved taking photos even then, and was fancinated with the process (of course back then it was film) and soon became obsessed with the fundamentals that make a great photograph: lighting, balance, composition and use of space. I took Photography courses in High School and College, but recieved my BA degree in Liberal Studies, later acquiring my K-8 Teaching Credential. After spending over a decade working with children, I knew it was time to make my dream of doing photography full time a reality.

I started taking clients full time in 2019, and only wish I would have done it sooner. 

In addition to working with children, I am a Mom of two girls. The experience with children, and my fun/silly personality brings out the natural smiles in your little ones (and Dads too)! My goal at each session is to capture YOUR Real Life moments. That looks different for every family, and I love the variety that gives my photos. I love meeting new families, and enjoy seeing returning families every year. 

My husband and girls are my biggest supporters and I am so grateful for them. They are the meaning of my business name. I get asked a lot what the meaning is. Truth is, it's very simple! We all have blue eyes in my family, even our dog and two cats! We are The Blue Crew and I can't wait to add you to my Blue Crew Photo Family!!
